EV Journeys is an education-first site for people who are new to electric vehicles or still deciding whether one fits their life. There is a lot of confident noise online — from both boosters and skeptics. We aim for clear, checkable explanations: how charging actually works, what range means in practice, and what tradeoffs are real.

No fear-selling — we do not hype or panic; we explain.
Privacy for trip data — analyzers process exports on your device; guides and calculators here do not need your location or driving history.

How the analyzers work

Export a journey log from your car (format varies by brand).
Open the analyzer for your brand on its subdomain.
Import the file in your browser — parsing and storage happen locally.

Privacy

All vehicle data stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server. We do not operate a backend database of your trips. Each brand analyzer uses its own subdomain and stores data in your browser only.

Optional cloud backup or sync may be offered later with explicit opt-in and encryption. The free tier will remain local-first.
